Mike Danielian broke the 40-point barrier for the third time this season and the fourth time in his career, but his 46 points - including a program-record 21 free throws - and 13 rebounds weren't enough to lift host Grant of Van Nuys past Birmingham of Lake Balboa Balboa, town (1990 pop. 2,751), Colón prov., in the former Panama Canal Zone, on the Gulf of Panama.
