DAY IN SPORTS: GRANADA HILLS WINS CITY AGAIN.

Alyson Golditch shot 80 and Lucy Davies 81 Wednesday at par-72 Balboa Golf Course in Encino to lead Granada Hills to a third consecutive City Section girls' golf championship.

--Marmonte tournament: Celia Durkins beat Kristen McVitty 6-4, 6-4 in singles, and Cory Ceizler and Jilli Schnitman teamed up to knock off to cease, as from work; to desist.

--Mission tournament: In the Mission League finals at Studio City Golf & Tennis, freshman Hilary Barte of Harvard-Westlake of Studio City beat Jen Segar of Chaminade of West Hills 6-3, 6-0 in singles, and sisters Erynne and Aimee Oki of Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks beat Natasha Brown and Jen Kaswick of Harvard-Westlake to win the doubles title 6-4, 5-7, 6-3.
