DAY IN SPORTS: DEFENDING CHAMP G.H. WINS AGAIN CHATSWORTH GIRLS' GOLF ALSO REMAINS UNBEATEN.

Defending City Section girls' golf champion Granada Hills remained undefeated Wednesday with a 164-186 victory over North Hollywood in a Valley 1 League match at El Cariso GC.

Returning sophomore Alyson Golditch shot 36 and junior newcomer Lucy Davies shot 38 for the Highlanders (3-0, 3-0), who got scores of 45 from squad veterans Susan Yi and Christina Salazar at par-31 El Cariso.

Analilia Hulio shot 43, Samantha Reyes 45 and Julie Lindeen 47 for North Hollywood (1-2, 1-2).

--Moorpark 262, Newbury Park 346: Jami Duclos was medalist at 45 for Moorpark (1-1) in a nonleague victory at par-36 Elkins Ranch.
