DAY IN SPORTS: CHATSWORTH ROLLS TO WESTSIDE FINAL.

Jason Dominguez threw his second complete game in as many starts Thursday as host Chatsworth defeated Royal of Simi Valley Simi Valley (sē`mē, sĭm`ē), city (1990 pop. 100,217), Ventura co., SW Calif. in an oil, fruit, and farm region; laid out 1887, inc. 1969.  4-1 in a semifinal game of the Westside Tournament.

Dominguez tossed 100 pitches, gave up four hits and had 11 strikeouts for the Daily News' top-ranked team, which is also the defending tournament champion.

Mike Moustakas Mike Moustakas (born September 11, 1988 at Chatsworth, California) is a Shortstop[1] who was drafted by the Kansas City Royals of Major League Baseball 2nd overall in the 2007 Major League Baseball Draft.  and Bryan Petersen each doubled to key a two-run third inning for Chatsworth (4-0), which added insurance runs in the fourth and fifth innings.

The Chancellors advance to Saturday's final at Cal State Dominguez Hills against Oxnard/Ventura winner at 1 p.m.

--Radnoti suspended: Officials from Thousand Oaks High announced that head track and and cross country coach Pobert Radnoti was been suspended for one calendar year for violating Southern Section rules governing practices outside the season.
