Another day, another shutout for Kyle Thompson Kyle Thompson (born April 25, 1979) is an American professional golfer.

Thompson has been a member of the Nationwide Tour since 2003. He won two events in 2007 which put him in the top 25 on the money list which will earn him a PGA Tour card for 2008.

The Chaminade High of West Hills junior threw his second gem in as many outings Tuesday, this time a complete-game three-hitter with eight strikeouts in a 1-0 victory over visiting Loyola of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  in a Mission League baseball opener.

Thompson, who pitched a perfect game last week against Quartz Hill, has given up three hits and no runs in 14-plus innings. He is 2-0 with a save.

--Harvard-Westlake 107, Saugus 76: Saugus (3-2) won nine of 12 events, including two by Kyle Burns, John Burns, John, 1858–1943, British union leader and politician. A factory worker as a child, he was largely self-educated and was led by his reading to radical socialism.  Criste and Ryan Kristensen, but host Harvard-Westlake of Studio City (2-0) relied on superior depth for the victory.

GIRLS' SWIMMING

NONLEAGUE

--Harvard-Westlake 107, Saugus 73: Alexa Merz doubled in the 50- and 500-yard freestyles as host Harvard-Westlake of Studio City (2-0), the Daily News' top-ranked team, won all three relays and nine of 12 events.
