DAY IN SPORTS: HARVARD-WESTLAKE ROLLS.

Harvard-Westlake of Studio City scored the game's first 21 points Saturday and cruised to a 79-38 Mission League boys' basketball victory at Crespi of Encino.

Crespi did not score until Dom Morra made a 19-footer at the first-quarter buzzer.

Harvard-Westlake extended the lead to 26-3 midway through the second quarter and led 34-12 at halftime.

Despite a winning record (11-7), Crespi does not have the firepower of Harvard-Westlake (11-6, 4-1) and Loyola of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850.  in the Mission League.

Crespi was hurt last offseason, when arguably the three best players at the school decided not to play this season. Seniors Kevin Flahavan, Uche Anyanwu and Kyle Bremond would have provided more scoring punch and an inside presence.

--L.A. Baptist 67, Pacific Hills 59: Scott Sturzenacker scored 17 points and Sheldon Sheehy added 16 for visiting L.A. Baptist of North Hills (11-9, 1-2) in a victory over Pacific Hills of Los Angeles.

GIRLS' BASKETBALL

Prep League

--Flintridge Prep 49, Pasadena Poly 46: Jordan Toyama scored 13 points and Jami Quan had 11 for visiting Flintridge Prep of La Canada (12-4, 4-1).

Flintridge Prep was outscored 21-15 in the second half but was able to hang on for the win.

Liberty League

--Viewpoint 35, Buckley 27: LaToshia Brown was the only player on either team to score in double digits Double Digits was a pricing game on the American television game show, The Price Is Right. Played from April 20, 1973 through May 18, 1973's show, it was played for a car and used small prizes. , and her 17 points were enough for host Viewpoint of Calabasas (4-9, 1-2).

Nonleague

--Calabasas 2, Agoura 1: Ben Van Deur Fluit and Ian Firestone each had goals for visiting Calabasas (11-3-3, 4-1-1). Calabasas faces Moorpark in its next game Jan. 23 at 5 p.m.
