The Bryans barely needed to work in dispatching the Chileans 6-1, 6-2, 6-4 and staking the U.S. to a 2-1 lead Saturday in the quarterfinals at Mission Hills Country Club.

The Bryans were at their most dominant Saturday, breaking Chile's first two service games and only facing two break points in three sets. The duo won the first 27 points and 28 of 29 total on Bob Bryan's serve.

Andy Roddick can clinch the round for the U.S. by beating Gonzalez today in a match that starts at 11 a.m. James Blake is scheduled to face Nicolas Massu in the late match if necessary.

"There's no better feeling in the world," Bob Bryan said of the lift he and his brother have repeatedly given the team. "Andy and James feel like that point is in the bag.
