DAVID LIDDLE RESIGNS FROM BORLAND'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS.


SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 13, 1995--Borland International Inc. today announced that David Liddle David Liddle is co-founder of Interval Research Corporation, consulting professor of computer science at Stanford University, and credited with heading development of the groundbreaking Xerox Star computer system. He has served on the board of many corporations. , 49, has resigned from its board of directors. Liddle, who joined Borland's board in 1994, resigned due to of a conflict of interest created by the acquisition of Powersoft Corporation (company) Powersoft Corporation - A leading vendor of client/server application development tools.

In February 1994, Watcom became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Powersoft Corporation which merged with Sybase on 13 February 1995.
