DAVENPORT BEATS COETZER, GETS ANOTHER SHOT AT GRAF.


Lindsay Davenport Lindsay Ann Davenport (born June 8 1976 in Palos Verdes, California) is a former World No. 1 American professional female tennis champion. No. 4-seed Davenport earned her way into the semifinals by beating fifth-seed Amanda Coetzer of South Africa 6-4, 4-6, 6-3 Friday night. Graf won her quarterfinal match the night before and has had a day off to take it easy.
