WEDNESDAY

A service officer from Disabled American Veterans The Disabled American Veterans, or DAV, is an organization for disabled veterans that helps them and their families through various means. It currently has over 1.2 million members.

The DAV was controversial during the 2006 election cycle.
 will assist veterans and dependents in filing claims and appeals to the Department of Veterans Affairs from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Quinsigamond Village Community Center, 16 Greenwood St., Worcester. When filing a claim, veterans must bring a copy of their Form DD 214 and supporting documentation concerning their claims.

THURSDAY

Central Mass Yoga Institute is offering free yoga classes for combat veterans at 11 a.m. at the institute, 45 Sterling St., No. 28, West Boylston. All veterans are welcome; no advance registration is necessary.

South Works VFW See Video for Windows.  Post 3657 will meet at 6:30 p.m. at 1059 Millbury St., Worcester. The executive board will meet at 6 p.m.

FRIDAY

Work Force Central Career Center will have a Veterans Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Auburn Lodge of Elks, 754 Southbridge St., Auburn. Open to the public. For more information, call Joe Bullan at (508) 799-8020.

George L. Thorng American Legion Post 404 will meet at 7 p.m. at South Barre Road, Barre, for bingo. Doors will open at 5:30. Proceeds will benefit the post.

SATURDAY

Storm will perform live music for Marine Corps League Worcester Detachment 144 from 8 p.m. until closing at 181 Lake Ave., Worcester.

Webster-Dudley American Legion Auxiliary The American Legion Auxiliary (ALA) is a U.S.-headquartered patriotic service organization for women interested in voluntary service. It is a non-profit organization, affiliated with The American Legion (a veterans' service organization).  Post 184 will hold a meat raffle at 2 p.m. at the post, Houghton Street, Webster.

Massachusetts Veterans Inc. will hold its 12th annual Best Ball Golf Classic at 8 a.m. May 6 at Heritage Country Club, 85 Sampson Road, Charlton. The cost is $125 per golfer. The deadline for registration is April 22. For more information, call (508) 791-0956, ext. 123.

The third annual Pfc. Brian Moquin Memorial Motorcycle Run and Benefit will be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. May 16 at Kas Bar, 234 Southwest Cutoff (Route 20), Worcester. Registration starts at 9 a.m. The motorcycle ride leaves at 11 a.m., returning about 1 p.m. There will be live music by Big Gunz, food, drinks, T-shirts, raffles and a silent auction.
