DAV donates $750K to center for the intrepid.


National Adjutant Arthur H. Wilson is not looking for a new job--even if it sounded as though talk show host Don Imus was making an offer Mar. 1 on MSNBC and on the radio nationwide.

" to talk about the DAV Charitable Service Trust's donation of $750,000 to help build the Center for the Intrepid The Center for the Intrepid is a rehabilitation facility to treat amputees and burn victims. The new facility will serve military personnel who have been catastrophically disabled in operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. It will provide state-of-the-art rehabilitation and training for members of the armed forces.

Imus, himself a former Marine, lauded the donation and DAV's support for America's disabled veterans.

"Thanks to you and everyone else, they have well over the $10 million they needed," Imus told Adjutant Wilson.
