 DATAMAP, INC. RELEASES MARKETPRO SOFTWARE FOR MARKET RESEARCH
 MINNEAPOLIS, Oct. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- DataMap, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: DTMP), a provider of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) systems and services, announced today the release of MarketPro(TM) software for market research. MarketPro software provides marketers at small to medium companies powerful demographic information generally available only to large companies. The PC-based software provides instant access to the demographics of more than 300 metro areas in the United States.
 MarketPro software features DataMap's PostCensus(TM) data which are demographic databases updated with the latest household counts derived from postal delivery statistics. DataMap's advanced computer processes automatically merge quarterly ZIP+4 information from the U.S. postal service into existing databases. As local populations move throughout the 90's, businesses using MarketPro will have current household counts for sales and marketing decisions.
 While most market research systems display data by census tract or ZIP Code, MarketPro gives more precise profiles of neighborhoods, going to the postal carrier route (PCR). Using 16 demographic variables, such as home value, age, and ethnic breakouts, MarketPro software can show differences in neighborhoods within the same ZIP Code.
