DASCO COMPANIES promotes development director to vice president.


WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 17, 1996--DASCO COMPANIES' President Bruce A. Rendina announced the promotion of Mark J. Furlan from the position of development director to vice president.

Furlan will be relocating from DASCO's West Palm Beach headquarters to the company's San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay.  office.

Furlan has varied and substantial experience in the development of healthcare related real estate nationally. Prior to joining DASCO DASCO Discriminant Analysis with Shrunken Covariances  in June of 1994, he spent five years with two other nationally recognized medical building developers based in Chicago, Dallas and San Diego. Furlan's responsibilities in his new position will be to provide development services to DASCO's current clients in the western region of the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. Additionally, he will assist in continued marketing of DASCO's services throughout the region and will oversee the development of over one-half million square feet in new healthcare facility projects.
