DASCO's Medical Mall celebrates as it reaches the top.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 14, 1996--DASCO Cos. announced Wednesday that a topping off celebration will be held for its Medical Mall at Palm Beach Gardens project on Friday, Feb. 16, from 12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

This event will offer DASCO officials and the project's general contractor, Suffolk Construction, the opportunity to congratulate the sub-contractors for meeting a significant milestone in the development of the most visible and accessible outpatient and medical office complex in Northern Palm Beach County.

Phase One of The Medical Mall at Palm Beach Gardens, consisting of approximately 185,000 square feet of ambulatory care and physician office space as well as approximately 240,000 square feet of parking garage capacity for over 750 cars, is scheduled for completion in December 1996. The adjacent 120 bed skilled nursing/sub-acute facility, also included in the phase one development of the two phase medical complex, is scheduled to be completed in April of this year. The development team is currently working through the final design stage for the Mall's ambulatory and ancillary services including ambulatory surgery, diagnostic imaging, physical rehabilitation, and laboratory, with additional services currently under consideration.

An additional number of physicians have been invited to attend a private reception and project briefing on Thursday evening, March 21, to be held at the Palm Beach estate of Abraham D. Gosman, the Medical Mall visionary and chairman and chief executive officer of both Meditrust and PhyMatrix Corp.
