, Minn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- April 5, 1995--Ecolab Inc. announced that John H. Dasburg, President and Chief Executive Officer of Northwest Airlines, Inc., St. Paul, MN, has resigned from Ecolab's Board of Directors.

Mr. Dasburg resigned in order to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest involving the appointment by Minnesota Governor, Arne Carlson Arne Helge Carlson (born September 24, 1934) is an American politician active in the state of Minnesota.

Born in New York City, the son of Goteborg immigrants from Sweden, he attended Choate Rosemary Hall and graduated from Williams College in 1957.
