DAOU Systems Inc. Signs Agreement to Provide Custom Interface Solutions and Network Support to 3M and Its Customers.

SAN DIEGO--(BW HealthWire)--March 23, 2000

DAOU Systems Inc. (Nasdaq:DAOU) today announced that it has signed a professional services (job) professional services - A department of a supplier providing consultancy and programming manpower for the supplier's products.  agreement with 3M Health Information Systems, under which DAOU will provide custom interface design and development to health care organizations needing to establish interfaces between non-3M software applications and 3M coding, classification and data analysis software.

The agreement also calls for DAOU to provide its TechLink network support services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  to 3M Health Information Systems' customers.

In addition, DAOU will work directly with 3M Health Information Systems to develop interfaces between Veteran's Administration applications and the 3M Coding and Reimbursement System and the 3M Health Data Management System. DAOU will provide TechLink backup support directly to 3M to help troubleshoot network and connectivity issues that may occur at customer sites.
