In just her first year at the school, Andrea Bobic played a key role in helping the girls' basketball team to its most successful season. The freshman's latest heroics included a team-high 21 points in Friday's victory over Littlerock, a win that propelled the Eagles to their first postseason berth.

The victory over the Antelopes ended Antelope Valley's three-year run atop the league and gave Palmdale its sixth title in the past nine years. Without George, the Falcons will need to depend on seniors Shanna Demus and McKena Richardson.
