Antelope Valley College Antelope Valley College is a comprehensive community college located in Lancaster, California, USA. It is operated by the Antelope Valley Community College District, with a primary service area of 1,945 square miles covering portions of Los Angeles and Kern counties.  

Several of the area's top high school football players have been participating in spring workouts over the last week.

 Friday at Antelope Valley College. She went undefeated in league during dual meets and is seeded first in both events. Hodges also was a reserve offensive lineman for the Antelope Valley varsity football team.

The varsity boys' tennis team was without several players when it played Golden League power Quartz Hill earlier this month, most of whom missed because of college recruiting trips. However, missing the match paid off.

The softball team (11-12-1, 3-4), coming off an 11-6 loss Tuesday to Quartz Hill, hopes to remain in the hunt for a postseason berth by beating Highland at 3:15 p.m. today at Highland.

Right-hander Carly Fleming, who didn't pitch against Quartz Hill, is the probable starter for Littlerock today.

Cheri Smith is in her senior year at Vanguard University. The first baseman hit .301 with six doubles during the regular season, which concluded over the weekend. A communications major, the former Palmdale standout is scheduled to graduate this month.

The softball team's 5-0 loss at L.A. Baptist of North Hills Tuesday ended a remarkable streak for the Spirits.

Paraclete has no chance to win the Alpha League championship, which is unheard of Not heard of; of which there are no tidings.

Quartz Hill

The final Golden League meet of the season is today at Antelope Valley Country Club, and the Rebels are chasing Highland in their quest to repeat their Golden League championship from last season.

Highland has a seven-point lead (42-35) over the Rebels, who finished 23 strokes behind the Bulldogs in last week's league meet at Rancho Vista Golf Club.

Quartz Hill's Dave Schaefer is seeking his second consecutive medalist award after a shooting meet-low 75 at Rancho Vista.
