 increased his team-high batting average to .508 by going 4 for 4 in Wednesday's 22-3 Golden League victory over Antelope Valley. The performance included his fourth home run of the season.

Anderson and the rest of the Eagles (6-11, 3-5) look to continue their hot hitting today, when they have a rematch with the Antelopes at Antelope Valley.

Littlerock

The boys' tennis team, struggling with a 3-9 record (1-6 in Golden League), is undergoing a new look. No. 1 singles player Moises Ambriz will switch to doubles for a match this afternoon at Quartz Hill. Also, 325-pound Alex Cochan played his first singles match Tuesday against Palmdale, losing 6-3.

The Falcons avenged their only Golden League baseball loss of the season Wednesday. The first six Palmdale batters singled as part of a five-run first inning in a 13-4 victory over Highland. Senior designated hitter Matt Monette went 3 for 3 with his first home run of the season. Palmdale lost to Highland 17-1 on March 20.

The baseball team finishes its series against Alpha League rival Marshall Fundamental of Pasadena today. The Spirits' specialty has been offense, but their Alpha League-championship hopes probably will be decided by pitching.

Senior Drew Gill has been an effective starter with a 3-1 record and a 3.19 earned-run average in six starts. Dan Fluharty (4-0, 3.00) has two complete games and 25 strikeouts. Opponents are hitting just .163 against him.

Paraclete's staff ERA is a solid 3.71.

Quartz Hill

Alumna Amanda Ricker is having a solid season for The Master's College softball team, but the freshman has faced a tough schedule in the Golden State Athletic Conference The Golden State Athletic Conference is a college athletics conference in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). The conference commissioner is Dr. Cliff Hamlow of Azusa Pacific University. Conference leadership is shared among the member institutions. .

Ricker's record was 14-8 on March 23, but she's lost six consecutive decisions during the Mustangs' roughest stretch against the GSAC's elite.

Coach Randy Clark said he expects Ricker to be improved next season from her learning experience.
