College of the Canyons College of the Canyons is one of the fastest-growing community colleges in the state. According to the National Junior College Research Association, College of the Canyons consistently ranks in the top 50 community colleges in the nation.

The Master's College History

The baseball game at Valencia was rained out Friday, and a makeup game has been scheduled for 3:15 p.m. April 4 at Valencia.

Hart

Former softball standout Gloria Slakoff, now a sophomore at Grand Canyon University Grand Canyon University is a for-profit, non-denominational Christian university in Phoenix, Arizona. The University offers online and campus-based bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The campus has approximately 1,700 students. , is batting .250 with a pinch-hit home run and eight RBI in eight at-bats this season.

Saugus

The Saugus Hall of Fame induction ceremony is scheduled for June 6 at the Santa Clarita Sports Complex. The honorees are softball players Nicole Giordano ('97) and Jamie Gillis ('96), along with multi-sport athletes Robert Bradshaw ('83), Wendy Bradshaw ('82), Gary Luster ('78), and former multi-sport coaches Jim Phillips and Teri Lord, both of whom retired this past December.

Valencia

Softball pitcher Jordan Taylor's 18 strikeouts in a 1-0 nine-inning loss to Chaminade of West Hills on Thursday was a school record. The Vikings (6-1) play host to Camarillo (4-1) in a nonleague doubleheader beginning at 2:15 p.m. today.
