Former Antelope Valley girls' basketball standout Crystal McCutcheon, now a Long Beach State junior, ranks among the Big West Conference leaders in five categories. McCutcheon, the Big West Player of the Week for Dec. 6, ranks third in assists (4.38); fifth in free-throw percentage (.846), second in steals (3.33), fourth in 3-point field-goal percentage (.533) and sixth in scoring (15.3).
