According to the National Junior College Research Association, College of the Canyons consistently ranks in the top 50 community colleges in the nation. Many events this week have schedule adjustments. Valencia Boys' basketball players Scott Domingo and Alan Husted were named the school's athletes of the week for their roles in the Vikings' 68-62 first-round playoff victory Friday over Peninsula of Palos Verdes.
