The boys' basketball team survived a scare against winless Palmdale on Tuesday, outscoring the Falcons 22-6 after the game was tied at 37 late in the third quarter. Senior Tomoreo Allen led the charge with a game-high 27 points.

Tuesday's victory should give the Bulldogs (11-8, 2-1) momentum going into Friday night's 7:30 showdown with Lancaster.

The girls' basketball team played its first home game since its new uniforms arrived last week on Wednesday.

The new home uniforms are silver instead of white, with green accents to go with the school's traditional blue, and the new road uniforms feature the green accent as well.

Littlerock coach John Konrad said the uniforms appear to be looser and more comfortable.

``Hopefully we can use this as motivation,'' Konrad said.
