DAILY RECORD DEBATE; Should women be on the front line?


Opinion was sharply divided over Saturday's question: Should women soldiers be allowed to fight alongside men on the front line?Women wanted equal rights, so there should be no problem with them fighting beside men as that's equal isn't it? John, Ayr.

If women have the same skills and courage as men, then there is no reason why they shouldn't be allowed to fight on the front line - MT, Dunfermline.
