DAILY NEWS VEEP NAMED SAN BERNARDINO PUBLISHER.

Bob Gray, vice president and general manager of the Daily News, was named publisher of the San Bernardino San Bernardino, city, United States
San Bernardino (săn bûr'nədē`nō), city (1990 pop. 164,164), seat of San Bernardino co., S Calif., at the foot of the San Bernardino Mts.; inc. 1854.
 County Sun, effective Monday.

The appointment was announced by Ike Massey, president of the Los Angeles Newspaper Group The Los Angeles Newspaper Group is an umbrella group of local daily newspapers published in the greater Los Angeles area by MediaNews Group. The news coverage of the newspapers are mainly local stories.  and publisher of the Daily News, who praised Gray for his work at the newspaper.

Gray, 50, had been with the Daily News for two years after serving as assistant to the publisher and advertising director of the Long Beach Press-Telegram The Long Beach Press-Telegram is a major daily newspaper published in Long Beach, California.
