: ``Nothing but the best'' is how Rosen describes his volunteer experience after almost 15 years of continuous service at North Hollywood Adult Learning Center, where he teaches adults reading and comprehension. ``We all work together helping each other. Everybody that comes comes with the desire to learn something or wanting to do something, like maybe becoming a citizen, or getting a better job.''

WHY DO YOU VOLUNTEER?: ``When I retired, I was getting bored so I decided to join what was at that time called DOVS (Dedicated Older Volunteers Services). The rewards have been great, especially when I see the students making progress. That's when it makes it all worthwhile.''

FAVORITE DAILY TASK: ``I look forward to the two days that I'm with my students.''
