volunteerism
: A member of the Simi Valley city task force on domestic violence. "We are producing pamphlets that will be distributed to doctors' offices, churches, libraries, schools and anywhere we can get them. It is to educate people that there is domestic violence in Simi Valley and to provide people with a list of resources." He also provides shelter for the homeless through the Simi Valley Presbyterian Church. "They need a place to stay the night, and I help them with that. There are many hamster species, classified in several genera. All are solitary, burrowing, nocturnal animals, with chunky bodies, short tails, soft, thick fur, and large external cheek  named Jeremy.

BIGGEST DILEMMA: "Trying to find enough time to do things I really want to do. I want to be more active in the volunteer areas and with helping people."

MOST DIFFICULT AND FAVORITE DAILY TASKS: "My most difficult daily task is going to bed at night. I always feel that I want to do more that day. My favorite My Favorite is an independent synthpop band from Long Island, New York. They released two CDs: Love at Absolute Zero and Happiest Days of Our Lives. My Favorite broke up on September 14, 2005, when singer Andrea Vaughn left the band.  daily take is getting up pretty early, sitting down in my living room and reading my Bible."

BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT: "That I didn't finish college with a degree when I was younger. I am trying to correct this now, though. I will be graduating in May from California State University, Northridge CSUN offers a variety of programs leading to bachelor's degrees in 61 fields and master's degrees in 42 fields. The university has over 150,000 alumni. It's also home to a summer musical theater/theater program known as TADW (TeenAge Drama Workshop) that leads teenagers through an , with a degree in biology. I want to teach high school biology."

GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENT: "My family. I am just proud of my family, it is wonderful to be a part of. They are the most important thing to me in my life."

GOALS FOR THE FUTURE: "With the homeless program, I have been asked to take over and coordinate the program, and I'd like to expand the program to two places every night that everyone can go to. Right now, we are not turning people away, but I worry about that. In Simi Valley there are at least 100 homeless people. If they wanted a place to sleep every night, we could then provide it."

BEST THING ABOUT GETTING OLDER: "I had the opportunity to make more mistakes, so hopefully I can make fewer in the future."

WHO RELIES ON YOU THE MOST AND WHO YOU RELY ON: "My family relies on me for the love and the care that I can give them. It is very important every day that they know how much I love them. I rely on, in a higher sense, God for strength and comfort."

ROLE MODELS: "One big one I have is my grandfather George Washington Sorensen. Though he died when I was younger, when I was growing up I would visit him every summer in Boelus, Neb. He always had time for me, and I could ask him any question that I had. He talked to me as another person - not parent to child, just person to person."

HOW DO YOU DEFINE SUCCESS?: "Having done something that makes the world a better place. If you haven't changed the world for the better while you were here, I personally think you missed the point."

YOUR VICE: "Internet access See how to access the Internet.  - it is really attractive. I average a couple hours every day. It is an opportunity to meet people from around the world that I would never come in contact with, and I like learning about new things."

FAVORITE L.A. HANGOUTS: "There is a restaurant we like to go to called Chuy's in Simi Valley. It is a fun place - crowded, noisy Noisy is the name or part of the name of six communes of France:
  • Noisy-le-Grand in the Seine-Saint-Denis département
  • Noisy-le-Roi in the Yvelines département
  • Noisy-le-Sec in the Seine-Saint-Denis département
and the food is always great.

WHAT WOULD BE A PERFECT DAY FOR YOU?: "A day where nobody was killed, nobody went hungry or went without shelter and clothing, a day where everybody felt loved, one day for the world without pain."
