Jackson led the Wolverines to the Southern Section semifinals this season, averaging four goals a game and earning All-CIF honors.

The area's most dominant physical offensive threat, Jackson is broadening her game as she competes in a series of tryouts for the National Youth Team. The two-time Mission League MVP (Multimedia Video Processor) A high-speed DSP chip from Texas Instruments, introduced in 1994. Officially introduced as the TMS320C80, it combines RISC technology with the functionality of four DSPs on one chip.  already is determined to guide Harvard-Westlake into next season's finals.

``I'm going to train very hard this upcoming summer, four hours in the morning and two in the afternoon,'' Jackson said.

Simon is the first four-year water polo water polo, swimming game encompassing features of soccer, football, basketball, and hockey. The object of the game is to maneuver, by head, feet, or hand, a leather-covered ball 27 to 28 in.  player from the Harvard-Westlake girls' program, which is only three years old. She participated on the boys' frosh/soph team her freshman year.

She leaves the program as its captain and best defensive player and was selected to the All-CIF second team.

This junior figures to combine with Jackson as the most formidable scoring duo in the area again next year. The third-team All-CIF selection was the Wolverines' second-leading scorer, averaging three goals per game.

The Marmonte League The Marmonte League is a high school sports league primarily made up of schools from Ventura County. The Marmonte Leauge is part of the CIF Southern Section. Click here to view the league schedule.  MVP and All-CIF selection led the Chargers to their first league title and the Southern Section quarterfinals.

Led the team with 51 goals and 39 assists to go with 20 steals. A transfer from Westlake High, the second-team All-CIF selection fit in perfectly with Agoura's dominating class of sophomores.

Credited for wearing down opposing defenses as yet another threat on a team loaded with them, this third-team All-CIF selection had 48 goals and 22 assists.

KATE FREUDENBERG

Crescenta Valley The Crescenta Valley is a small inland valley in Los Angeles County, California. Its name derives from its crescent-like shape, with the convex portion facing roughly northeast and the concave portion southwest.  

Every game it was Freudenberg's responsibility to shut down the opposing team's best player. Along the way, she found time to score 45 goals to go with her 110 steals.

The All-CIF selection used her quickness to make 75 steals in addition to 164 saves this year. She has 402 career saves.

KILEY GROMBACHER

It is not easy to be in the same league as Harvard-Westlake, but players like Grombacher continue to make the program competitive. She set a school record with 127 steals, shattering the previous mark by 66.

PALOMA SKEZAK

Sophomore driver

Louisville

Set a school record for goals with 70 in the regular season. She also handed out 41 assists to tie with Grombacher for the team lead.

CARLY HUFFMAN

Royal

Although listed as a driver, Huffman found herself playing each position this year. The third-team All-CIF selection mainly went between driver and 2-meter, where she had 33 goals, 36 steals and 16 assists.

 to coach the boys' team in 1992. When water polo became a CIF-sanctioned girls' sport three years ago, Rosenthal started that team at the request of the female stat-keeper for the boys.

Agoura went 5-11 its first season, then improved to 10-10 last year. The Chargers posted a 21-6 record this season.
