 in full Digital Subscriber Line

Broadband digital communications connection that operates over standard copper telephone wires. It requires a DSL modem, which splits transmissions into two frequency bands: the lower frequencies for voice (ordinary

Specifications

The JERA 2120 extends the ATM backbone network via a 155-Mbps OC-3c optical channel connection. Supporting up to 120 subscribers using RADSL technology over a distance of up to three miles, the JERA 2120 passively merges voice traffic with the high-speed data access and/or video on the loop, without interrupting telephone service. The JERA 2120 has been designed to allow up to four units to be connected through a fiber channel supporting up to 480 subscribers in one 7 foot high 19 inch rack.
