D2Hawkeye Promotes Doug Berman to Head up Customer Service.

WELLESLEY, Mass. -- D2Hawkeye, a health care software and services company, has announced the promotion of Doug Berman to Vice President, Account Management. Berman had joined the company last year as Vice President, Channel Sales.

Berman, a senior health care executive, had joined D2Hawkeye from New England based, Harvard Pilgrim Health Care, where he was Director of Provider Relations. In that capacity, he managed network relationships, operations and e-Business sales for this 850,000 member HMO 

"Doug's extensive experience in working with Brokers, Health Plans and Physician Groups has given our channel sales program a real shot in the arm," commented Dr. Chris Kryder, Founder and CEO of D2Hawkeye. In his new position, Mr. Berman and the other members of the customer service team are responsible for supporting D2Hawkeye's customers as they service the rapidly expanding market of companies who are self insuring their health care programs as a means to better manage and control health care costs.
