D2Audio Breaks Technology Barrier by Introducing World's Only Real-Time, All-Digital Feedback Amplifier.

AUSTIN, Texas -- D2Audio, the world's only manufacturer of Intelligent Digital Amplifiers(TM), today introduced the world's first and only full-bandwidth, real-time, all-digital feedback amplifier. This powerful new closed-loop amplifier breakthrough, which will serve as D2Audio's revolutionary 2nd generation Digital Audio Engine(TM) (DAE) IC platform, achieves a higher level of audio quality than previously possible by constantly and automatically correcting the audio amplifier signal using a new breakthrough in closed-loop technology.

D2Audio's digital feedback amplifier technology delivers premium sound to consumers by continually adjusting and optimizing the audio signal to correct for fluctuations within the audio system, or due to the speaker load. It also gives audio manufacturers an intelligent digital amplifier system with automatic fine tuning that even compensates for changes induced by very low-cost, unregulated power supplies.

This new real-time DSP-controlled all-digital amplifier feedback technology expands upon D2Audio's first generation DAE-1 technologies, creating a new family of application optimized ICs known as the Digital Audio Engine DAE-2 IC platforms. The new DAE-2 IC platforms integrate a collection of industry leading capabilities and breakthrough technologies, including both full-bandwidth digital feedback (DF) and an advanced feed-forward or digital power supply correction (DPSC) capability.

News of D2Audio's new real-time, all-digital feedback amplifier DAE-2 IC platform is likely to stun the industry, since as recently as the October 2005 Audio Engineering Society panel on Switching Amplifiers for High Resolution Audio, industry players deemed real-time feedback impossible in digital amplifiers.
