Marketing & Consulting Inc. is enthusiastically announcing fourth quarter pre-tax earnings of $.40 per share, up from $.24 in the previous quarter and exactly in line with management's expectation. Total pre-tax earnings for 1996 total $.80, up from ($.18) for fiscal year 1995. Having accurately forecast earnings performance for the four previous quarters, management feels confident in forecasting first quarter 1997 earnings of $.50 per share, a 25% increase from the previous quarter. Combined total sales activity for the company's three divisions, Chemical Burn Cleansing Solutions, Collectible collectible An asset of limited supply that is sought for a variety of reasons including, it is hoped, an increase in value. Stamps, antiques, coins, and works of art are among the many things usually classified as collectibles. and Fine Art and Network Marketing, have increased 740% over the previous year. Increased sales of the Collectible and Fine Art Division, up 1,975% over the previous year, and Network Marketing Division, up 310%, most significantly impacted the improved performance. Increased sales can also be attributed to the company's newest division, Acquisitions and Consulting Division. This division attributed to 12% of 1996 total sales. Although the outlook for all four divisions is positive, the company expects this newest division to most significantly impact future sales growth.
