D-day in Blunkett 'son' battle.THE row over David Blunkett's love-child will go to a showdown in the English High Court today. A judge will assess the Home Secretary's fight for access to the two-year-old son of his ex-lover, Kimberly Quinn Kimberly Quinn (born 1961 as Kimberly Solomon, also formerly known as Kimberly Fortier) is an American journalist, commentator, and magazine publisher. Details of the couple's battle will be revealed as the hearing is to be made public by the judge hearing the case, Mr Justice Ernest Ryder. It follows the uproar over claims that Blunkett, 57, fast-tracked a visa for Quinn's former nanny, Leoncia Casalme, 36. Today's hearing in court 47 of the family division in London has been conducted in private until now due to legal rules protecting children. The judge decided there has been so much publicity over the case, it will now be heard in open court in the public interest. Meanwhile, Quinn's husband Stephen, 60, defended his wife as she recovered in hospital from a stress--relasted condition. He said: 'She is not the greatest sinner sin·ner n. 1.
