D-Link Systems Selects Kendin Communications for Desktop Ethernet Switch Product Line.

D-Link Systems, Inc., a networking and connectivity vendor, has chosen Kendin Communications' recently announced, five-port switch and PHY See physical layer and physical.  for its own desktop Ethernet switch product line.

The KS8995 is integral to D-Link's new DSS-5+ retail desktop switch products, Liang said. Kendin was chosen after a couple of months of evaluation by D-Link's test laboratory, he said. These tests included EMI (ElectroMagnetic Interference) An electrical disturbance in a system due to natural phenomena, low-frequency waves from electromechanical devices or high-frequency waves (RFI) from chips and other electronic devices.
