LANCASTER - The JetHawks will play an exhibition game against the Arizona Diamondbacks This article is about the baseball team. For other uses, see Diamondback.
The Arizona Diamondbacks (also referred to as the D-backs) are a Major League Baseball team based in Phoenix, Arizona. They play in the West Division of the National League.

The Mariners are a member of the Western Division of Major League Baseball's American League. From to the present, the Mariners have played in Safeco Field.  at the Hangar.

, the Diamondbacks' three-time Cy Young Award winner who was then a member of the Mariners, will be making his second appearance in the Antelope Valley, as will third baseman Matt Williams, who was at the Hangar last summer while on a rehab assignment with the High Desert Mavericks The High Desert Mavericks are a minor league baseball team in Adelanto, California, USA. Their Major League parent club is the Seattle Mariners. They are a "high-A" class team in the California League, and had been a farm team of the Kansas City Royals since 2005 before the switch. .

``This will be an exciting event for the Antelope Valley,'' said JetHawks vice president Matt Ellis, ``to once again see major-league players in action.''

The Diamondbacks play their regular-season opener at Dodger Stadium on April 3.
