D&K Healthcare Resources Names Mary Ann Krey Van Lokeren to Board of Directors.

D&K Healthcare Resources, Inc. (NASDAQ:DKWD) announced today that Mary Ann Krey Van Lokeren has been elected a director of the corporation, effective immediately. This appointment brings the number of D&K Healthcare directors to eight.

Mary Ann Krey Van Lokeren, 55, is chairman and chief executive officer of Krey Distributing Company a privately held beverage distribution company in St. Louis, Missouri. Mrs. Van Lokeren has held this position since 1986.

Van Lokeren is a director of Commerce Bancshares, Inc. (Kansas City, Mo.), Laclede Gas Company (St. Louis, Mo.), Masco Corporation (Taylor, Mich.), and serves as a member of the Washington University board of trustees. For many years she has been an active member of the St. Louis community; her current involvement includes serving on the board of directors of the St. Louis Symphony, as well as serving as a member of the St. Louis Regional Business Council and the St. Charles County Partners for Progress. She has received several prestigious awards, including the Coro Foundation's John H. Poelker Award in 2000. Mrs. Van Lokeren has a BA from Washington University and an MBA from Washington University, Olin School of Business, where she received the Distinguished Alumni Award in 1996.
