D&B Taps Vicki P. Raeburn to Lead Data and Operations.

Vicki P. Raeburn has been named senior vice president and leader - data and operations at D&B (NYSE: DNB), the leading provider of global business information and technology solutions, effective May 13, 2002.

Raeburn becomes a member of the Company's global leadership team, reporting to Steven W. Alesio, senior vice president.

Raeburn has extensive strategic planning and data and operations experience in the information services industry. Most recently a partner at AHR, LLC, an investment company, Raeburn assessed financial information companies for possible investment or acquisition. Prior to this venture, Raeburn was president of Mergent, Inc., a global financial information business, where her achievements included reversing a declining revenue trend by selling existing data in new offerings, increasing the quantity of data collected while streamlining workflow, and delivering new internet-based product lines.

Raeburn's background includes senior leadership positions at Primark, Inc. (acquired by Thomson Financial), Instinet - a Reuters Company, Knight-Ridder Financial Systems, and Standard & Poor's/McGraw-Hill, all recognized brands in the information services industry. At different points in her career, Raeburn secured professorships at Stern School, New York University and Vassar College. Raeburn has a Doctorate degree in cognitive psychology from Yale University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in experimental psychology from New College.
