Cytyc Forms Advisory Board to Evaluate and Develop New Clinical Technologies.

BOXBOROUGH, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 2004

Cytyc Corporation (Nasdaq: CYTC) today announced the formation of a Clinical Technologies Advisory Board (CTAB CTAB Clear to auscultation bilaterally, see there ). The CTAB will provide expert and candid advice on the merits on the merits adj. referring to a judgment, decision or ruling of a court based upon the facts presented in evidence and the law applied to that evidence. A judge decides a case "on the merits" when he/she bases the decision on the fundamental issues and considers  and clinical utility of new diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. The advisors will also help evaluate and further develop Cytyc's existing product line and provide guidance on research programs underway with Cytyc's academic partners.
