For the 1996 second quarter, Cytyc reported revenues of $1.7 million compared to $1.3 million in the same quarter of 1995. The net loss for the quarter ended June 30, 1996, was $2.8 million, or $0.20 per share, compared to a net loss of $1.2 million, or $0.11 per share for the second quarter of 1995. For the six months ended June 30, 1996, revenues grew to $2.8 million, from $1.9 million reported for the comparable period of 1995. The net loss for the six-month period ended June 30, 1996, was $5.4 million, or $0.44 per share, compared to a net loss of $2.7 million, or $0.25 per share for the same period last year.
