Cytyc Corporation (Nasdaq: CYTC) today announced that Patrick J. Sullivan, chairman, president, and chief executive officer, is scheduled to speak at the Banc of America Securities Healthcare Conference at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas on Tuesday, March 25, at 3:05 p.m. (Pacific time).

A live webcast and recording of Mr. Sullivan's presentation will be available on Cytyc's website, www.cytyc.com, at the Investor Information section. The recording will be available approximately 24 hours after the presentation until April 4, 2003.

At the conference, Mr. Sullivan intends to express the Company's comfort with guidance previously provided for 2003, as stated during the Company's January 28, 2003, conference call. On that call, the Company stated, "We believe that first quarter total revenue will be in the range of $70 to $72 million, and total year revenue will be in the range of $300 to $315 million. For the first quarter and full year 2003, we believe our fully diluted per share earnings will be $0.14 to $0.15 and $0.62 to $0.66, respectively." The Company plans to release first quarter 2003 results on April 23, 2003, after the close of the market.
