Cytyc CEO Scheduled to Present At Wachovia Securities Conference and to Reiterate Guidance.

Cytyc Corporation (Nasdaq: CYTC) today announced that Patrick J. Sullivan, president and chief executive officer, is scheduled to speak at the Wachovia Securities Wachovia Securities, located in Richmond, Virginia (soon to be moved to St. Louis), is the third largest brokerage firm in the United States as of 2006 with $689 billion retail client assets under management. At the conference, Mr. Sullivan intends to express the Company's comfort with guidance previously provided for 2001 and 2002, as stated during the Company's October 24, 2001, conference call.
