Cytura Names Mitchel Laskey President and Chief Operating Officer; Seasoned Executive to Lead Next Stages of Corporate Growth.

Cytura, an emerging provider of content management infrastructure software and services, today announced the appointment of Mitchel J. Laskey to the position of president and chief operating officer (COO). Laskey, who brings more than 20 years of experience in managing and advising healthcare and software companies, will work with the company's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Raj Toleti in an overall executive leadership role. In addition, Laskey will serve on the company's board of directors.

Since March 2001 Laskey has served as a senior advisor to Cytura, and was instrumental in securing the company's recent round of venture financing from Noro-Moseley Partners and Lovett Miller. More recently, Laskey has been a consultant to the company and has served as its acting president for the last two months.

Prior to founding Dynamic Healthcare Technologies, Laskey was a principal and managing partner in various entrepreneurial investments and also acted as a volunteer officer for a not-for-profit social agency. Immediately prior, he was Executive Vice President of the Dynamic Control Division of Baxter International and until its sale to Baxter International in 1983, was the Executive Vice President of Dynamic Control Corporation, a healthcare information systems company. In addition, Laskey is a member of the board of directors of Optio Software, Inc. (OPTO-NASDAQ) a provider of e-business software and services and CNL Bankshares, Inc., a Florida chartered financial services company.

Laskey holds bachelor's degrees in accounting and marketing from the University of South Florida and he has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1974. He is also a member of the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants.
