Cytura Appoints David Winkler Vice President of Corporate Development; Company Announces Management Team Expansion As It Prepares for Strategic Growth.

Cytura, an emerging provider of content management infrastructure software and services, today announced the appointment of David J. Winkler to the position of vice president of corporate development. In this role, Winkler will provide leadership for Cytura's market strategy, business development, customer relationship management and strategic partnerships. In addition, Cytura named Donna MacKenzie vice president of finance to help prepare for the company's future growth. She will be responsible for establishing the company's back-office and financial infrastructure. Cytura also named Eric Tietjen director of sales.

Winkler, who draws on more than 17 years of experience in information technology leadership for several of the world's largest companies, will oversee Cytura's marketing, business and channel development functions, reporting to President and Chief Operating Officer Mitchel J. Laskey. Prior to joining Cytura, Winkler served as Vice President of Business Development for privately held VertaPort, Inc., an XML software infrastructure development firm. Prior to VertaPort, Winkler served as Senior Practice Manager for the manufacturing and engineering sectors of the Microsoft Consulting Services group, where he was responsible for business development, customer presentation, project management and engagement profitability. Winkler also served in senior leadership positions at Cadence, Oracle and EDS.

Winkler holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from the Seidman School of Business in Grand Rapids, Mich.

Donna MacKenzie, Vice President of Finance

Donna MacKenzie, who will report to President and COO Mitchel Laskey, brings more than 15 years in corporate finance and controllership functions in both public and private accounting as well as her consulting experiences. In her role at Cytura, she will be responsible for managing and developing its financial position and growth. Prior to joining Cytura, Mackenzie was vice president of an emerging enterprise that concentrated on software development of Internet applications for time and expense reporting for the middle market. She also spent six years in consulting in the areas of strategic planning and development and financial and business processes. Clients included Fortune 100 companies and other large public and private companies such as Ford Motor Company, Chrysler, United Airlines, Ameritech, A.C. Nielsen, Fritz Companies (UPS) and others.

Mackenzie holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Alaska, Anchorage and has done extensive post-graduate work in finance and strategic planning. She has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1988 and is a member of both the American and Florida Institutes of Certified Public Accountants and the Project Managers Institute.

Eric Tietjen, Director of Sales

Eric Tietjen, who will report to President and COO Mitchel Laskey, has more than 15 years of software sales and sales management experience. In this role, Tietjen will lead the growth of Cytura's sales channels in the exploding Web content management and personalization markets. Prior to joining Cytura, Tietjen spent two years in the enterprise content management market working for Vignette Corporation. Tietjen has participated in the early stage sales development of several successful start-up software companies including companies in computer aided software engineering (CASE), SGML electronic publishing and data analysis and reporting markets. Prior to working with Vignette, Tietjen was in sales management with Seagate Software Information Management Group providing enterprise data analysis and reporting solutions. Tietjen was Director of Sales and a founding member of the sales organization at Electronic Book Technologies.

Tietjen holds a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA.
