Cytomedix Announces Nationwide Contract for Use of Autologel Wound Therapy With National Healthcare Corporation, Inc.

Cytomedix (OTCBB:CYDX) announced today a definitive agreement for the use of the AutoloGel(TM) Process by National Healthcare Corporation (NHC) in their 85 facilities for the treatment of chronic wounds. Implementation of the AutoloGel Process is to begin immediately. Cytomedix's proprietary AutoloGel Process is an advanced wound therapy, which is easily applied to patient wounds at the point of patient care. Using the autologous healing components from platelet rich plasma, chronic wounds have an increased rate of volume reduction and heal with fewer dressing changes, providing decreased cost and increased healing efficacy for long-term care providers. It has been shown to be highly effective in company-sponsored retrospective studies for treatment of a variety of chronic wounds.
