There are more than 40 types of thermoplastics, including acrylic, polypropylene, polycarbonate and polyethylene. Composite has been selected as the material of choice by Alliant Techsystems (NYSE:ATK ATK - Andrew Toolkit ) and the U.S. Army Tank-Automotive and Armaments Command The U.S. Army's TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC), formally known as Tank-automotive and Armaments Command, (TACOM), headquartered in Warren, MI, is part of AMC, the U.S. Army Materiel Command.
