:CYT) announces that the Board of Directors of Cytec Industries Inc. has elected Mr. Shane D. Fleming, President Cytec Specialty Chemicals and Mr. Stephen C. Speak, President Cytec Engineered Materials as Officers of the Company. Both Mr. Fleming and Mr. Speak will continue to report to Mr. David Lilley David William Lilley (born 31 October 1977, in Bellshill) is a Scottish professional footballer currently playing for Scottish Premier League club Kilmarnock.

In addition to being named as corporate officers, both executives are also being appointed as members of Cytec's Executive Committee and will join together with Mr. James P. Cronin, Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Lilley to form an expanded Executive Committee.

Mr. Fleming, is President of Cytec Specialty Chemicals, consisting of the company's Water and Industrial Process Chemicals and Performance Products business segments. He was appointed to this position in May 2003. Mr. Fleming began his career in 1983 as a technical service engineer for American Cyanamid's mineral processing chemicals business in Salt Lake City, Utah For ships of the United States Navy of the same name, see .
