SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 12, 1996--Cypress Semiconductor Corp. (NYSE NYSE

:CY) today announced that its Board of Directors has increased its authorization to repurchase stock from $50 million to $70 million, whereby shares of its common stock may be repurchased in the open market from time-to-time.
