Cypress announces record employee profit sharing; Cypress employees to receive $1.75 million after record quarter.

:CY) today announced the distribution of $1.75 million in quarterly profit sharing checks to Cypress employees--the largest such payout in the company's history.

The first quarter profit sharing checks, which are distributed in dollar-for-dollar equal shares to all Cypress employees, reached a record $1,250 each. The profit sharing announcement followed Cypress's release of the best quarterly earnings in the company's history--a record $0.45 per share on revenues of $123.4 million.
