. The remote is designed for use with UEI's Snowflake project, which was created with leading middleware provider NDS See eDirectory.

. It uses Cypress's 2.4-GHz Wireless and CapSense[TM] solutions to eliminate line of sight dependency and enable sleek, multifunctional navigation.

The Snowflake project remote features a touch input area divided into five sections that control different functions depending on whether a user applies a short press, long press, or swipe. Cypress's CapSense[TM] technology enables the smooth tracking of this state-of-the-art control pad. The Snowflake project remote also uses Cypress's 2.4-GHz RF technology to create a two-way connection for future personalization Custom tailoring information to the individual. On the Web, personalization means returning a page that has been customized for the user, taking into consideration that person's habits and preferences. . The remote leverages the industry-leading interference immunity of Cypress's AgileHID[TM] protocol for uninterrupted operation in the home environment, where the 2.4-GHz spectrum is crowded with signals from Wi-Fi, microwaves, cordless phones A wireless telephone that transmits to and receives signals from a base station within a range of a few hundred feet.
