The academic workshop will include an introduction to PSoC and a hands-on lab session highlighting the practical application of PSoC in teaching the concepts of Programmable System-on-Chip design. An introduction to Cypress's PSoC Express visual embedded development software and PSoC FirstTouch Starter Kit will highlight the workshop. Professors will use a PSoC Express demonstration kit to visually implement an array of applications, and keep the kit free of charge for use in developing coursework that teaches analog, digital and microcontroller concepts as well as developing designs quickly and confidently.
